Our current seasonal blend is a mix of Eagle Monte Carmelo from Brazil and Monsoon Malabar from India. Well rounded, the Eagle Monte Carmelo gives sweet chocolate notes and well balanced acidity which is perfectly complemented with the rich, creamy nut and spice notes of Monsoon Malabar. Enjoy!

 

70% EAGLE MONTE CARMELO

30% MONSOON MALABAR

Country: India

Variety: Red Catuai

Process: Monsooned

Altitude : 600-800 metres above sea level

We recommend the following recipe as a starting point:

  • Dose: 18 grams
  • Brew temperature: 91ºC-92.5ºC
  • Brew time: 23-28 sec
  • Brew Ratio: 1:2
  • Brew weight: 36 grams
     

This profile and recipe was developed on a La Marzocco Linea with 18gr. baskets – so should be taken as a starting point, and not an absolute as different machines extract in different ways.
